The orca show wasn't the only place to find a splash zone at SeaWorld in San Diego, CA on Saturday July 7th. If you were one of the thousands of guests walking through the Red, White, and Brew Beer Garden that day, you got drenched in the musical splash zone that Ultra Violet Groove provided. From 11am - 8pm, UVG did an entire day of stripped down sets, departing from their regular 5-piece band to the power duo of lead singer Angela Muhwezi and lead guitarist Nailo. Accompanied by special guest vocalist, Bailey Thompson, throughout the morning, UVG grooved on through the day performing your favorite covers oldies covers "Lovely Day" and Stevie Wonder's "What's Going On" to the 90s slammers of "3AM" and "Jumper." The eclectic mix of jamz made for an entertaining show for all ages. At one point, a few kids were singing and dancing to the hits of Shawn Mendes and Ed Sheeran, while their parents could bob their heads to throwback John Mayer, Jason Mraz, and Jack Johnson jamz.
Ultra Violet Groove's next show is on Saturday, September 15th at Vintage Vibe Festival in Santa Anita, CA. You can purchase tickets here.
